Here are some tips for caring for Olefin fabric:
-
Regular maintenance
Brush off loose dirt and debris with a soft brush or vacuum to prevent dirt from settling in.
-
Spot cleaning
For minor stains, blot with a clean cloth or sponge and a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry. For stubborn stains, you can try mixing 50 ml of bleach with 15 ml of mild detergent and 1 liter of warm water.
-
Washing
If the fabric has a removable cover, you can wash it by hand or in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Close all zippers before washing and don't overload the machine, which can cause wrinkles. After washing, rinse thoroughly and line dry in the shade. If you must use a dryer, use low heat.
-
Waterproofing
Reapply a waterproofing spray every six months to a year to keep the fabric water-resistant.
-
Pilling
Olefin pills more easily than natural fibers, so you can use a lint roller, tape, or fabric shaver to remove pills, but avoid brushing them off.
