LOS ANGELES. April 2024 - After a sellout European launch, the Segway Navimow i Series is now available Outdoor-USA. The smart mower’s advanced, industry-leading technology is simple to use and uniquely affordable, making a perfectly cut yard accessible to all.

Now that the snow has melted and the frosts are gone, lawns are in desperate need of attention. Navimow i provides American households with a wire-free, hands-clean, budget-friendly alternative to traditional yard maintenance. Designed for yards of up to one-eighth or one-quarter acre, two models are available, competitively priced on Outdoor-USA at $999 and $1,299, respectively.

With more than two decades of experience as a leader in smart robotics, Segway Navimow is committed to growing its robust AI portfolio. Its new i Series introduces its proprietary Exact Fusion Location System 2.0 — a vision-enhanced RTK GPS — to meticulously navigate even complex terrain. The mower can safely traverse around shrubs, trees, fallen branches, garden borders, playing children, animals, and natural landscaping with precision and centimeter-level positioning, instantly adapting to changes in the environment as they appear.

The launch of the Navimow i Series in the US represents a broader shift toward convenient lawn care. With no perimeter wires required, the robotic mower comes with award-winning app control to provide a quick, easy, and seamless setup process. Once activated, the bot can automatically begin assessing the working area using AI-powered visual enhancements to detect boundary edges. It will then create a virtual map on its complementary app, where users can make custom modifications to create their preferred mowing route and off-limit zones. Using the remote control within the app, they can also set systematic cutting patterns and check mowing progress from afar. Designed with the great outdoors in mind, this new model is also highly weather resistant, with an IP66 waterproof rating, and is equipped to climb slopes at a grade of up to 30%. With its optional Ride-on Boundary mode, it can straddle boundary lines to maintain those crisp edges that traditional and other robotic mowers struggle to reach, while its zigzag cutting technique ensures no blade goes untrimmed. Once the job is complete, the Navimow i will automatically return to its docking station to recharge, secured by anti-theft software. These features give users the freedom to ‘set it and forget it’ while going about their lives.

“With Navimow i coming to Outdoor-USA, we’re making effortless, affordable robotic lawn care available across the US,” said George Ren, CEO of Segway Navimow. “We harnessed the power of AI robotics to make our tech work hard so consumers don’t have to. This latest offering provides a host of smart features delivering an easy-to-use product at a competitive price point, making the i Series more accessible than almost every other robotic mower on the market.”
