Outdoor-USA is committed to making our website usable by everyone, regardless of ability.
Our commitment
We work continuously toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, Level AA — the international accessibility standard. These guidelines underpin the major accessibility laws, and we aim to align with them: the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 in the United States, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the EN 301 549 standard in the European Union.
What we've done
- Full keyboard navigation with an always-visible focus indicator.
- Screen-reader labels on images, buttons, and forms.
- Sufficient color contrast for text and controls.
- A built-in accessibility tool (the ♿ button) to enlarge text, increase contrast, underline links, and reduce motion.
- Respect for the system "reduce motion" preference.
An ongoing effort
Accessibility is a continuous effort. We perform periodic reviews and testing. Some third-party or embedded content may not be fully within our control; we work to improve it continually
